SaddleRock Farm is a locally owned, Christian family-operated farm situated on 40 acres about 5 miles southeast of Henderson. Purchased in 1999 by Larry and Mary Sue Johnson shortly after the birth of their first grandson, the farm was initially intended as a place for their grandchildren to experience the farm life. However, they soon realized that the Lord had a greater purpose for the farm, transforming it into a ministry that invites the public to share in the farm experience.

On April 1st, 2010, SaddleRock Farm was officially opened to the public and dedicated to the Lord. At SaddleRock, we believe that the Lord has blessed us with the opportunity to engage with and disciple each person who visits our farm. Our environment is relaxed and free of drama, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and loved. We partner with nearby churches to host events that share the love of the Lord, using our farm as a platform for these meaningful interactions.

In January 2024, we decided it was time to pass the reins of the farm to my grandson, Garrett Parker, and his wife, Emily Parker. Garrett and Emily have worked diligently on the farm for several years and will continue to make SaddleRock Farm a place where every child wants to visit. Garrett practically grew up on the farm and has extensive experience in training horses and providing farrier services. Together, Garrett and Emily are committed to the farm’s growth and success, ensuring it remains dedicated to the Lord each day.
